From Moto Morini press
release
The Moto Morini brand is back with 2 stunning
new bikes to be built and available on the market for next
year.
The first is described as a direct throwback
to the 3 1/2 legend, updated. The engine in the new bike is
the powerful 998cc Bialbero CorsaCorta with 105 Hp at 9000
rpm, and it is perfectly displayed through the bike's steel
trellis frame. The styling is a mix of classic and contemporary
elements including a large, round front headlight, a carefully
designed tank with a double aluminium coloured insert. The
wheels are back to traditional style with super strong aluminium
channel spokes, and the exhaust system is a work of art in
itself. The swingarm is an unusual design with the shock fastened
to the right hand side of the oval section.

The other new model is the Corsaro 1200,
again a naked bike but looking very stylish. The Bialbero
Corsacorta engine is again utilised but this time it is an
1187cc V-Twin with 140 Hp and a maximum torque of 123 Nm at
6,500 rpm. The 87° twin V makes the bike compact and should
be easy to handle with a low centre of gravity. The spectacular
exhaust system with its two twin cone silencers is Euro3 standard
approved. The tubular steel frame, the front cowl with its
twin front headlight and the compact tail cowl all contribute
to the Corsaro 1200's sports look.

Both bikes will be on the market in 2005
so Moto Morini say, prices and full specs will be added as
soon as we get them.
