California. Is this the image you have of biking on the West Coast? Yeah, if you're a similar age to me and live in Europe then it probably is. Well Dario is an Italian living in California, and he's going to tell us all about the reality of biking in The Golden State... We thought we'd try something different this week. A race report made up primarily of pictures, because words alone don't really capture the chaos and drams that is 24 hour racing. Yes, we went to Le Mans and took some pictures. Want to see? Fantasy SBK and the corresponding Fantasy MotoGP sites have encountered some issues and we have had to pull them. It's partly technical and partly contractual, but rather than risk anyone getting stitched up we agreed to take them down immediately. Sorry...

Assen, one of the oldest, most historic, most atmospheric circuits on the calendar. It always delivers great racing and with Valentino out to score a century, Lorenzo out to get revenge and Stoner trying to stay on an even footing it was going to be good...

Craig Jones, one of the nicest guys in motorsport as well as one of the brightest stars and strongest hopes for a British champion, succumbed to his injuries after a crash fighting for the lead at Brands Hatch. Here are our memories of a good mate...

SBK came home this weekend, with the only British round at Donington Park. For once the weather stayed decent and the racing threw up a few interesting surprises. As well as some completely unsurprising results...

The newest entry to the Harley Davidson range is the European influenced (and targeted) XR1200. Based on the Sportster but with some subtle tweaks, it's a brave move in many ways. But does it actually work? Only one way to find out...

Suzuki are probably the only Japanese bike manufacturer who could call a bike the Intruder, style it like this and actually get away with it. Possibly because they seem not to be afraid to go out on a limb. Oh, and the fact that the results are usually very good helps...

Suzuki again, with another slightly suspect name for a bike. The Gladius may be named after a Roman sword. Or maybe not. Whatever the origins, there's little doubt that the replacement for the SV650 is a worthy one, though...

Our current Features  & Product Reviews
You've seen the preview, now read the impartial (yes, really) review. Motorcycle Trackdays for Virgins is aimed at helping you, the less experienced trackday goer, become metaphorically deflowered. But is it any good? We asked Dick Henneman to tell us, and promised zero editorial intervention...
TomTom is probably the most widely known sat-nav producer. We've had the Rider 2 on test for a few months now, and I have to say it's really rather good in that it does exactly what you'd expect...

New helmets are always a nice thing to have, and a new brand on the market is even better. Sometimes. NZI have been around for a while but we haven't really seen much of them in the UK to date. But if their latest offering is anything to go by that might well change pretty soon...
