Does anyone know if I can buy a rear hugger for my GS 500E? It is a fantastic commuter. However, the mono shock unit is just as vunerable as any other at this time of year.If any one can help, it would be much appreciated.

Someone must do one. But I'm damned if I can find it... I looked everywhere I could think of but didn't have any luck, sorry.

It's a fair point, though, and one that I'm surprised nobody has addressed. After all, it's not exactly a rare bike and as a popular commuter it should be ripe for this sort of practical addition.

Where are you? Maybe there's someone local who could let you try out various others to see if they fit.

Many thanks for your trouble YG. I'm going to start e-mailing manufacturers of huggers and moan at them. Perhaps they would like to fill a niche in the market! Best wishes. crcwelderblue.
