I'll be gentle, don't worry. . .

Just a quick announcement that there is a new Trackdays guide on the market. The snappily titled "Motorcycle Trackdays for Virgins" is available from Panther Press at just £12.95 and is claimed to be essential reading for anyone looking at their first trackday.

Now all I can say at the moment is that if you like this site and the way it's written then you may like the book. Because I wrote it. So I'm not going to say anything further until I can get an independent reviewer and then we'll review it. I think it's rather good. But then, I would, wouldn't I?

It's a hundred and twenty five pages long, it's got circuit guides as well as loads of helpful tips and hints to avoid ending up like this chap on the right and also tries to help you deal with the repercussions when it does eventually all go wrong. Oh, and I hope that it does so without being patronising in any way. But I can't promise that...
