| It took a while to get everything sorted out, but at last we can reveal both of our worthy TomTom Rider winners.
The first, you'll remember I'm sure, was Lauren Nelson. Not only did Lauren give us a genuine e-mail address but she also rather nicely allowed us to test her TomTom as she's currently without a bike and doesn't need it yet. Which adds being really nice to her list of other attributes.
The second winner was a little more complicated. The e-mail address was genuine but for some strange reason every time she (yes, another lady) tried to mail us it bounced back to her. Eventually, though, we managed to establish communication and last week Gaynor Seckerson became our second winner.
Gaynor, from near Croydon, is also temporarily without a bike. Well, a working one, anyway. Riding out toward the West Country in rather poor weather, Gaynor, who in fairness hasn't been riding long, encountered a prat in a car who failed to stop at a red light. Braking to avoid a collision, she locked the front on her ER-6 and down she went.
Not only did the bike end up looking distinctly second hand but Gaynor ended up with a broken wrist and is currently waiting to find out if she's properly damaged her knee and elbow as well.
So a bit of good luck didn't go amiss at all.
There will be further competitions. They will be equally genuine. So please, have some more faith...
