Just in time to miss the beginning of the season, there's a new book out that could be very useful. Aimed at the trackday novice, it gives loads of advice and helpful pointers in a light hearted, informal way, Much like MotorbikesToday, actually. Probably because I wrote it... |
Craig Jones, one of the nicest guys in motorsport as well as one of the brightest stars and strongest hopes for a British champion, has sadly succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash while fighting for the lead at the Brands Hatch round of World Supersport... |
Remember the GPS we wanted to give away? Well we have a couple of deserving winners. Yes, we've found them both at last. Bizarrely, there are distinct similarities between them, too. Not least that they are both seriously deserving cases, both are temporarily sans bike and...well, read on. |

A real weekend of highs and lows, this, with some of the best racing we've seen this season combining with the tragedy you can find elsewhere on this page... |

Steering dampers are, in some quarters, considered a bit naff. While others swear by them. Or at them sometimes. Anyway, there's a relatively new kid on the damping block and we got the chance to check it out. It would be fair to say that we were really rather impressed... |
Ever wondered, when you're reading yet another article about the great and the good of the racing world, what it would be like for a normal human being to ride a full blown superbike? So did we, and in the absence of a normal being we sent the editor to find out... |
Scrubbers leathers. A name that should be familiar to any regular visitor to these pages. We've used them for cleaning and for repairs, but alterations are a different thing altogether. Clare threw some sliders at them to see what happened... |
